Kip Ioane

Kip Ioane is the Founder of TeamsOfMen, an organization that equips coaches to help male athletes build healthier relationships, expand emotional fluency, and rethink inherited ideas of masculinity through everyday coaching conversations. A former NCAA men’s basketball coach of more than two decades and current high school head coach, Kip has spent his career exploring how the language, rituals, and relationships inside athletic programs shape who young men become long after the final whistle. His work has reached hundreds of coaches and thousands of athletes through workshops, keynote presentations, curriculum development and digital resources. Kip is also President of the Kas Ioane Foundation, which provides scholarships and community programming that promote positive masculinity, peer leadership and mental wellness. He is co-founder of the Mirror Academy, a leadership experience that brings high school basketball programs together to examine identity, empathy and accountability through sport. His writing appears in the daily 30 Second Timeouts series, and he is the author of MirrorTraining, with a second book, Mirror Framing, forthcoming.
